For the past 15 years I have been working with skin diseases/ conditions and have encountered numerous objections from patients for use of topical steroids for treatment of Eczema/ Dermatitis and Psoriasis. Patients were looking for more natural alternatives. Furthermore, topical steroids are usually used for short term 2-4 weeks to avoid thinning of the skin and other steroid related side effects. For the rest of the time: it's a good use of moisturizers and wait until another flare up to restart steroids. Over the years steroid free formulation entered the market but costs of the new prescription topical creams are astronomical. Furthermore, It's always a hassle to get these medications covered by insurance, and not many patients can afford 200$ - 600$ cost  per tube of cream. 

I personally was blessed with Psoriasis, Seborrheic Dermatitis, Rosacea and Acne; I guess this basket of diseases, what sparked my interest in Dermatology. Most skin diseases are called “waxing and waning” . They get better with treatment  and then flare up again, never to be cured. 

With all of the above in mind I set up to formulate a natural alternative to steroids that does not cost a fortune. While learning to formulate cosmetics made me realize that most creams and soaps are made from petroleum based products like Mineral oil and petroleum jelly.  Additionally I learned that formaldehyde and parabens are great preservatives, but neither of them sounded appealing to be applied to my skin. Therefore creams at LaCremeta are formulated with natural goodness of bee pollen, honey and  free of formaldehyde, parabens, petroleum jelly or mineral oil. 

After about a year of formulating I realized that cream alone are not achieving my objective of clear skin. So I decided to further research an old fashion way of soap making and was amazed how much natural soaps transformed my skin outcome.
